Lecture 1 [24/01/12]

After learning some of the basics of Interaction design I was required to (in preparation for my the assignment I would receive on Thursday) brainstorm some ideas of a cube that a user would interact with but which could not contain a digital aspect. My idea that I began to focus on and build round was a concept for a Rubik’s cube that could be used by the visually impaired. The prompt is to play with the cube as it is a toy, the user action is to solve the puzzle and the system reaction is to not stop vibrating until it is mixed up again which put you back to the prompt stage with someone wanting to play with and solve the puzzle.

This is work from my uni blog which you are free to check out however, I’ll be reblogging all the highlights into my main blog. Blog is a daft word.
